Lehigh's wrestling team will face off against the Cornhuskers tomorrow night in Lincoln for the first time. Lehigh has faced Nebraska before but either at Lehigh or a neutral site on five separate occasions. Lehigh holds the edge, 3-2. Nebraska is ranked #14 and boast 8 ranked grapplers. Lehigh is very young this year and will travel with only one ranked wrestler (Craig at 174). Despite their opening season loss to #20 Pitt last Sunday, the team showed a lot of promise for the future. We will certainly take some lumps this year, but I see a real run into the top elite in another year or two if this contingent can stay healthy and eligible.
Match is supposed to be available on the internet through NU's steaming website.

Thanks. We will need every ounce. In fact, I will be please if we score double figures. BTW. How's ASU's wrestling team this year? It appeared that some southern schools like ASU, Citadel and a few others were starting to upgrade. We're not attending the Southen Scuffle this year, but will be at the Virginia Duals in January.

Mountain Hawks battled well tonight, but just didn't have the guns. Our freshmen got a good lesson, but we pulled off a few wins including a pin,(Galante at 165) and a major. Nebraska won 28-13...before only 822 people. Can't believe that's all that show up for their #14th ranked team. What else would there be to do in Lincoln on a Friday night...xconfusedx ;)
