Congrats Chants!!! Looks like we both did our business this week. It's a crazy week when # 1 and 2 go down. I believe Martin's 4th int was taken by #99 Rico Reese DE, had a one handed tip to his self then went 18 yds for the score. One of the best plays I've seen since I became a Catamount!!! I don't know what furmans deal was last night, but I know we were playing some good football. I know Martin usually didn't have long to stand around in the pocket. He was being chased all over the field last night. We wore the all purple unis too. Same ones in the pic to the left. Last time we wore those, we beat App St. Maybe they're our good luck charm.

I was really just praying for a chance at a close game and a late score for the upset. When we took the opening kickoff and WALKED all the way to the endzone I was feeling like it was going to be one GREAT NIGHT.

That play totally changed the game. What a tremendous play. At that point momentum was all Furmans. They had just scored 21 points in just under 6 minute. They also stopped the Cats and got the ball back with just over 7 minutes left. At that point, I felt pretty confident they would be able to recover. Then Ingle goes out and throws two straight INTs, the first the aforementioned one for a TD by Reese. Another foot higher on the throw over Reese and its a big gainer as they had the screen set up real well.

Special teams also killed us. Inability to cover a pooch kickoff and fake put for 40 yard gain. Same issues over and over again. WCU dominated this game and deserved the win.

I loved it...I was getting worried at the end there, but what an awesome game. It's great that our school got to tear down goalposts against someone other than app..
