HEMPSTEAD, NY. - William & Mary benefited from timely hitting and outstanding pitching in a 13-1 seven-inning win over Hofstra Friday afternoon. Carter Lovasz tossed 4.2 innings of scoreless ball, striking out five and allowing two hits. Owen Pierce closed out the game, tossing the final 2.1 innings and allowing the lone Hofstra run.
