CSN So South: Suddenly, the Races Became Clear

The four or five-team jumble at the top of the Southern Conference did not materialize as The Citadel and Furman produced upsets that effectively gave Wofford at least a share of the title and the league’s automatic playoff bid. Appalachian State, which defeated Western Carolina, can tie Wofford for the crown, but the Terriers’ September win over the Mountaineers gives them the top conference playoff spot.
