Moon Township, Pa. – The RMU softball team opened play in the T-Mobile Crimson Classic Friday at Rhoads Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Ala., posting a 6-3 victory over Mercer in its first game of the tournament before falling to host Alabama, 4-0. The Colonials own an overall record of 5-6 (.455) during the 2023 campaign.
