CLINTON, S.C. – In pursuit of the program's quickest race to 15 wins since the 2007 campaign, the Presbyterian College softball squad nearly achieved that goal against a feisty Buffalo visitor on Friday afternoon, gridlocked in back-to-back defensive chess matches in their return to Clinton. As the dust settled on a brutally windy doubleheader, the Blue Hose managed a split with the Bulls behind a 3-1 Game 1 victory that preceded a 1-0 second-outing setback.
