They had a large number of starters declared academically ineligible about a week before the season (I believe 8 starters). They were not going to be that good anyway, but that occurance made them destined for a season of blowouts.

They are getting spanked by Wisco team that had problems with Bowling Green last week, gonna be another long season for Temple

If they didn't come to an agreement with the MAC for membership, I'd have been convinced this schedule was put together as an excuse to drop the program.

As it is, any attempt to drop the team after reaching a formal agreement to join the Mid-American Conf. would put the administration's reputation in the *****er. They're stuck with their football program for at least another 5-10 years.

I was at the Wisc/Temp game yesterday. Temple had like -40 yds. rushing. They were perhaps the worst D1 team I've ever seen. My guest at the game fell asleep in the 4th quarter, right there in the stands.
