Dover, Del. (Mar. 2, 2023) --- Delaware State was plagued by 26 turnovers in a 64-58 loss to MEAC rival Maryland-Eastern Shore in the regular season finale for both teams in Memorial Hall this evening. The Hornets dropped their third straight game to close out the regular season with a 6-23 overall record and a 4-10 mark in the MEAC. The Hawks ended the regular year with two wins in their last three games to improve to 17-12 and 9-5. Kevon Voyles came off the bench to lead all players with 22 points eight-for-13 shooting from then field, including two three-point baskets on four attempts and perfect shooting on four free throws. Martaz Robinson, Khyrie State and Brandon Stone led Delaware State with 13 points each. Robinson also topped the Hornets with nine rebounds.
