Eagles will be using as an 'alternative' jersey their old "Kelly Greens"!! Lurie actually wanted to change a couple years ago, but they couldn't get a good matching 'Kelly green' for the helmet. I guess that has been ironed out.

Just another way to eliminate a potentially exciting play from the game under the guise of caring about "player safety." Why not just eliminate kickoffs and have them start on the 25 to begin each half and following every score. No high-speed collisions in that scenario.

FUBeAR has long been a proponent of removing all Kicking - Kickoffs, FG’s, (kicked) XP’s, and Punts from Football. This could, in most cases, eliminate 3 to 6 roster spots benefitting programs / leagues seeking to save money OR allow 3-6 more Position Players benefitting programs / leagues seeking to add quality depth, which also enhances Player safety, as removing these types of Plays from Football also, obviously does. Another benefit is speeding up the game.

Eliminating all except Punts is really easy. Removing Punts is harder and would require some well-thought-out rules changes and testing/tweaking, but it can be done.

Seems as if this article portends another step in the right (AKA, the FUBeAR) direction.

Meaning it is roughly double the action per game in MLB.

Actually 18 minutes in a MLB baseball game. NBA is 48 minutes and NHL 60 minutes of action.

I've timed a baseball game. Unless you count the time from start of windup to foul ball lands in the stands or excessively long home run trot ends, there's no way you get to 18 minutes in a typical game.

Going by CBS sports.

Doesn't take away the fact there is only 12 minutes of action in an NFL game.

Jets fear QB Aaron Rodgers suffered serious Achilles injury - ESPN (https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38381823/qb-aaron-rodgers-injures-ankle-opening-drive-new-york-jets-debut)

So, Rodgers "strains or partially" tears his calf or Achilles tendon during training camp and then steps awkwardly getting sacked and now could be done. Well he is almost 40 and injuries do not heal as fast when you get older. He's probably done for good or won't be back until next year if the Achilles is torn.

Maybe the worst 2 minutes of officiating of the year. Terrible roughing call on GB, terrible call on the out of bounds clock stoppage (should have been forward progress with the clock running at 19 seconds) and then a really bad missed PI against Green Bay

Had 3 MVFC guys show up big last night, Tucker/SDSU, Watson/NDSU and Cochrane/USD all played well. Looks like Watson pulled another hamstring last night towards the end of the game. That sucks. He has a history of that kind of injury

When did Stick turn into a fumble machine. I think he has had 4 fumbles in two games. That interception last night was a weird play, the guy came in unblocked apparently on some kind of bubble screen pass. Sitck had a bunch of TD passes in garbage time and looked OK outside of the turnovers but that Chargers team is putrid. The D was horrible and that game and effort last night by them was as bad as I have ever seen in the NFL.

If the Iggles haven't given their coordinators their walking papers already, something is wrong. In my ire Monday night I was screaming for Sirianni's head too, but after some thought, it may have been Roseman and Lurie who forced making Patricia the DC, which really screwed the pooch. With some of the players' comments and the fact the guy has won more than any Iggles coach in their first three years, I would give him next season to "right the ship" and, if he can't , "walk the plank."
