Unless the Flyers are invited to the playoffs, then the Gridiron Classic will be played in sunny San Diego.

Dayton Flyers:

10-1, 8-1 FCS, 6-1 PFL, 2007 PFL Champion! Wins over ranked FCS teams Fordham, (2007 Patriot League Champion and playoff participant), and San Diego.

I wonder where our first round game will be played?

GO DAYTON FLYERS!!!!!

Congrats to the Dayton Flyers! They beat USD and deserve the chance to play in either the playoffs or Gridiron Classic.

With the win today at Morehead it makes 3 straight PFL titles for San Diego - quite an accomplishment for the seniors on San Diego. We will have to look at the UC Davis game as our post-season game.

Again, congrats to the Flyers!

Don't blame the rankings. Blame the administrators that allow games outside of FCS to be played. Grambling played two FBS teams and lost to them. Substitute those two games against a Sagarin top 25 team in FCS and a single loss drops Grambling like a rock just like it happened to Iona earlier in the year.

The NCAA's solution? If your school plays D1 basketball you get to be FCS and you don't have to play a schedule made up entirely of FCS opponents. Stupidity.

Grambling has the southern classic, North Dakota State s not eligible for the play-offs, and Yale doesn't participate in the play-offs. You would have to at least take those three teams out of your play-off eligible teams to have any sliver of credibility.

That sure is a lot of "ifs." Because of regional limitations, I'm not sure how you will ever be able to require that FCS schools play only teams from the same classification.

Nice ranking system xlolx Besides the obvious ineligible teams you're including in the playoffs, just a reminder that the Patriot League has an auto-bid which would mean #19 Fordham also gets to go to the playoffs, bumping a team formerly included.

xcoffeex .

I need to make sure that I get your final rankings after this season so I can evaluate their performance. I think I'll compare them to Sagarin, Massey, and Dunkel. If you keep a record of what your rankings have been week by week so I can evaluate them in terms of prediction that would be optimum. If not, I'll see how well they did in terms of retrodiction.

Not sure. From what I understand Monmouth had a lot to do with getting CSTV to televise it last year. I hope it is televised.

The NEC crew that does Fox Sports coverage is pretty good. Just send them and put it on FCS.

Fictitious Team 1.934

Don't blame the rankings. Blame the administrators that allow games outside of FCS to be played. Grambling played two FBS teams and lost to them. Substitute those two games against a Sagarin top 25 team in FCS and a single loss drops Grambling like a rock just like it happened to Iona earlier in the year.

The NCAA's solution? If your school plays D1 basketball you get to be FCS and you don't have to play a schedule made up entirely of FCS opponents. Stupidity.

So now you're so tired of ridicule that you hide your rankings inside another thread? xlolx xlolx xlolx xlolx xlolx xlolx xlolx xlolx xlolx xlolx xlolx xlolx xlolx xlolx

What he ought to do is start a "Burka" thread in the lounge and then post his "rankings" there. That way no one will see them.

I dont understand why noone gives ccsu any respect to play in the gridiron bowl. Every thinks albany is going to over power them when ccsu matches up better with them than any other team. CCSU WILL WIN SATURDAY AND PLAY DAYTON IN THE GRIDIRON BOWL

I would check it out though as I can go through a hundred unsexy burka pics to find that one sexy one.

Everyone thinks it because Albany has proven to be the favorite so far. Being undefeated in league play with a margin of victory of about 30 or so a game. How can Central be anything but the underdog?

We lost to both these teams this year. We could have beatedn CCSU. One big play took us out of the game. Albany dominated us.
