Four Georgetown series go to the red zone, but only 12 points. And those last minute TD's continue to dog the Hoyas.
Georgetown opens the 3rd three and out, Colgate scores with ease, 31-12. Those field goals don't look so good now.
Make that 38-12, which is how the 3rd quarter ends.

Georgetown has no interest in the PFL. It doesn't fit the institutional mission of the school or its program.

The game (and, by default, Georgetown's season) has been called with 1:17 left, 45-12.

Does GT want to be a regional school rather than national? Not sure I understand....not trying to dig but GT in the PL makes no sense to me.....What is GT's record in the PL overall?

GT is 6-30 in the PL.....do you offer football scholarships? Just wondering.

Georgetown is already a national school with their basketball team. They like being in the Patriot League because the academic prestige of its collective membership outweighs anyone else in the country outside of the Ivy League. Not trying to be smug about the whole thing, but the name association works better for the Hoyas.
Sorry the Hoyas' season had to be cut short like that xpeacex
Hopefully JJ's okay :(

Umm...yes. 42 students are on athletic aid according to the latest NCAA numbers.
And Georgetown is worse than 6-24 in the PL, but I'll take it anyway.

Fair enough answer. I'm not offended about the academic point - very legit. I guess I am perplexed from a football perspective that's all. GT is a great school!

Colgate RB J.J. Bennett was injured on a play which delayed the game over 20 minutes. At that point, the two coaches agreed to end it right there.
