Miami, Fla. - The Stetson softball team suffered its first on the road loss of the 2023 season, Wednesday afternoon at the FIU Softball Stadium. The Hatters began the game strong with the first run recorded by senior Brianna Clary. Stetson's sophomore Haley Fox came up strong after scoring again in the first, giving SU the 2-0 advantage over the Panthers. But the Panthers weren't done. Sophomore Brooke McCann singled up the middle, advancing Kaleena Downing to second, advancing Ashton Lansdell and Makayla Navarro home, tying the score at two.
