Signed off of the Eagles practice squad to the Jets active roster.

PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER REPORT

The Eagles lost a player from thir practice squad when defensive end Marques Murrell was signed by the New York Jets. The Eagles sgned strong safety Erick Harris and defensive end Xzavie Jackson to their practice squad.

Makes sense. The Jets need any help they can find when it comes to rushing the passer. Now if we can only figure out how to stop the run, score touchdowns and stop taking stupid penalties on special teams we might actually win 2 more games this season.

Good for Marcus, he was a great player at App. Question though. Can any team claim a player off a practice squad at any time?

My understanding is that they can, but they have to sign them directly to their 53-man roster. That means teams can't just sign a practice squad player from another team directly to their own practice squad.
