Dover, Del. (Jan. 22, 2023) --- Delaware State University student-athletes, coaches and staff members helped spread joy to local youngsters and their families at a recent event with Bayhealth Medical Center. During Bayhealth's Free Bikes 4 Kidz event, Delaware State participants helped to build bikes over six hours, and the equipment given to kids in need. There were 277 bikes donated by Kent Bicycles to be assembled. "We've been incredibly surprised by the turnout and grateful for the support," said Dr. Tom Vaughan, Bayhealth's chief wellness officer and event organizer.
