Offensive Players of the Week
Appalachian State’s Armanti Edwards (Greenwood, S.C.) and Georgia Southern’s Jayson Foster (Canton, Ga.) share Southern Conference Offensive Players of the Week honors.
Edwards ran for a school record 291 yards on 21 totes and had 439 yards total offense. He ran for two touchdowns and passed for two others in a 45-24 win at The Citadel.
Foster rushed for a personal best 279 yards on 28 totes with three scores in a 38-35 win at Wofford. Foster set Southern Conference records for most yards in a quarter (174) and a half (232).
