I live in a suburb of Baton Rouge and my son goes to LSU, but if I had to pick the teams to be in the BCS championship game if the season ended today it'd be Ohio State and Oregon.
Having said that...this is yet another year such that it's clear that a playoff is needed in what we're now calling "FBS."
I guess the best I can say about LSU yesterday is that it's incredible that they were good enough to win spite of a 4 turnovers and 14 penalties for 130 yards. Losing in spite of a 475 to 254 edge in yardage would've been a bitter pill.
