LOUISVILLE, Ky. – From one grand stage to another, the seventh-ranked Presbyterian College women's wrestling team (after putting together six top-four placements at the vaunted Midlands Championships nearly one week ago) will compete in the National Collegiate Wrestling Association (NWCA) National Duals this Friday and Saturday, another chance to showcase the rapid growth of the program in its fourth season of existence. The two-day event in Louisville will begin at approximately 10:00 a.m.As has been well-documented by this point on the campaign, head coach Zach Sheaffer's group has produced its most notable results in the tournament backdrop, accumulating 16 top-three finishes in only four tourneys since November. Three of those bronze-at-worst statements came in the Windy City on December 30 from Paige Wehrmeister (136), Ainslie Lane (116), and Samantha Miller (101), the trio of Blue Hose grapplers who find themselves ranked 3rd, 4th, and 5th in the country respectively across their weight class.
