PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The University of Pennsylvania men's basketball team opened the new year with a 76-68 win at Brown on Monday night. The Quakers and Bears were tied, 57-57, with a little less than five minutes remaining but the Red and Blue used a 15-6 run over a 3:17 span to pull away and then hit enough foul shots to keep the Bears at bay.
