Charlie Weis is a moron. No other coach in America would have passed up that FG attempt.

Heading to OT. Can Navy break the streak?

Peems
November 3rd, 2007, 05:27 PM
ND got a FG in the 2 OT, Navy has the ball and is looking to break the longest win streak over one team...

My buddy is a crazy ND fan. We are on our way over there to visit now. I get to rub in that UD > ND. :D

Good thing the Fighting Irish didn't play an FCS squad this year, eh?

Does this mean UD would beat Notre Dame? I think a lot of FCS teams would beat Notre Dame this year.

Perhaps they should buy a game with Indiana State.
Instate rivalry and all :p

Even as a practicing Catholic who likes to see the Irish win, I am glad to see Navy end this streak, especially against Weis. He had a chance to win the game late in the 4th, but instead of kicking the fg, he went for it, and the DB from Navy sacked the QB a la Bobby Boucher style to help send the game into OT.

Congrats to EVERYBODY associated with the United States Navy this Saturday evening!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!xthumbsupx xthumbsupx xthumbsupx

A great and richly deserved victory for Navy.

For Notre Dame, much more work to be done.

I guess they forgot to tell the other teams in college football that Charley Weiss is a genius... Oops...

they did not get the memo (apparently)

If ND loses to Air Force next week, I believe it will the first time they will have ever lost to two Service schools in the same year.

They lost to both Army and Navy in 1944. Of course that year, Army was No. 1 and Navy was No. 4 in the country.

I want to see if Notre Dame will lose to Duke!!

UD would kick some Irish ass, they'd have no answer for Flacco.

If Notre Dame loses out, Ty Willigham will have had more wins at Notre Dame than Charlie Weis has at Notre Dame.

If Notre Dame loses out, Ty Willigham will have had more wins at Notre Dame than Charlie Weis has at Notre Dame.

And two fewer BCS bowls and two fewer top-10 recruiting classes

how the hell do you lose to Delaware, and beat ND? go figure.
hmmmmm,

Any given Saturday? Or maybe Delaware is just better than Notre Dame.
