RICHMOND, Va. -- A pair of Richmond Spiders have been named finalists for the second annual RVA Sports Awards, honoring the best in athletics among those with ties to the Richmond region. Spiders men's basketball coach Chris Mooney is one of three finalists for the Brown Distributing Coach of the Year after leading Richmond to the 2022 Atlantic 10 Championship and a spot in the 2nd Round of the NCAA Tournament. Lindsey Frank, an All-Atlantic 10 selection in both lacrosse and field hockey, is one of four finalists Kings Dominion Female Athlete of the Year.
