I know I am new to this forum but it seems like there is an over whelming majority of folks from the east on this page. Just wanted to start a poll and see what conference most of the writers represent. I my self represent the BSC. I am sure I am messing up on trying to set a poll so just write in.

I know I have left a few conferences out but I am limited to ten choices and decided to go with the majors in the FCS.

I think it depends on who is doing well in a particular season. Bandwagon fans seem to pop up when a team is on the up swing and fall off when the team faulters.

I support the Great West and the Gateway.

And you're only worth 1/2 point in the CAA tie breaker system...ouch

In raw numbers, I believe more than 50% of FCS schools are east of the Mississippi, so there should be more posters on here that are east of Montana. If there wasn't, you could not pull out the old ECB flag..... :) :) :)

Thanks...I remember a thread about a year ago where some western bretheren were complaining about East Coast Bias (ECB) and someone pointed out that a large majority of FCS teams are east of the Mississippi...this really shows it...xthumbsupx

California only has
7 FBS Teams
4 FCS Teams
1 D-II Team

Cal also has
5 I-A teams that no longer play football
2 I-AA teams that no longer play football
7 D-II teams that no longer play football

I don't know how many play D-III or NAIA.

That's so strange to me...seems like there are at least 3 univeristies in every town in this state. San Diego County has 4 rather large ones I can think of off the top of my head. Most must be like UCSD who doesn't really care about sports
