Why is it that LSU fans feel so cheated??? He didn't leave LSU for Alabama after all, he did what any other college coach does and went to the NFL. Now yes I agree he was a pr!ck about lying regarding the whole Alabama thing - but LSU has nothing to do with the whole thing.

I like that Forrest Saban one though.

I don't agree with what Nick did, but I do see his logic trail. If he had said from the beginning that he was interested in the Alabama job, his Dolphins would have given up on him, and the season would have tanked (not that it didn't anyway). I'm not saying Nicky is clean in this, he shouldn't have lied, but he did what he thought best was for his team, the Dolphins, at the time.

Of course, I'm an Alabama fan and could possibly be biased in this logic. I've had this game marked on the calendar since Jan 3, and I can't wait until Saturday.

They're mad because he said he'd stay at LSU. When he turned down the Bears people thought he'd stay. The next year he's gone to Miami. To top it off he ends up at rival Alabama so that only makes it worse. xlolx

Geez, is there any conference in the country that has more controversial coaches than the SEC? I used to like Bama but Saban is a prick xnodx

That drives them crazy no matter who's the coach at Bama. xlolx But they fare better in Tuscaloosa than in Baton Rouge.

LSU is gonna beat Saban on pride alone.xlolx
Alabama ain't ready for LSU yet.

They needed a fuggged up call just to beat a 2 win Ole Miss team.xnodx

Matt Flynn's gonna have to get it done, since Perriloux (http://www.2theadvocate.com/news/10934636.html) has gotten in trouble again.

Sometimes I wonder what the hell is wrong with some of these kids.
Perriloux had no reason hanging out with what I loosely call a homeboy.

Derrick Odem has been into so much stupid shat AFTER the 1st people didn't file charges on his arse.
He has gotten himself kicked off the team entirely now.

That guy played a Calloway Highschool here in Jackson and never acted like that fool has acted at LSU in one damm year.
His old highschool coach at Calloway would have dropped him on his neck by now.xnodx

Baton Rouge can do strange things to you, especially if you're not from here and you fall into the wrong crowd. xnonono2x

I'd say that's partially right. Most everyone I know wasn't too surprised by the move to Miami and most people knew that it was a tough decision but it's what he really wanted to do. Only 2 years after that, he comes back to college IN THE SEC WEST.

THAT is what people are mad at. If he would have gone to a team in the ACC, Big East, Big Ten, Big XII, Pac 10 or even a team in the SEC East fans wouldn't be NEARLY as POed.

Well, I've got friends who are 'Bama fans, and I got friends who are Dolphin fans...

Decisions, decisions xchinscratchx

Ahh, what the heck, Geaux Tigers! The Dolphins may not win a game this year, so those guys at least deserve to see Saban get it handed to him by LSU

Well, I don't think it'd have even been close if LSU hadn't made so many mistakes. But they managed to get it done anyway.

Great game. I'm as anti-SEC as any Pac-10 fan, but I love watching night games at Bryant-Denny

Kentucky did it in Lexington, anything is possible.

If you're looking at it from an LSU perspective you say LSU beat LSU in that game as much as Kentucky did. And the Tigers almost did it again last night.

They're very talented, but very sloppy. They make a lot of unforced mistakes and the fact that they only have one loss right now in spite of that is a testament to how good they COULD be if they'd knock it off.
