So the STATS Poll actually outdid the AGS Poll this year in terms of projecting the playoff field getting one seed line closer and having 12 of the 13 at-large right (as the AGS Poll did) but their misses, having Chattanooga as the last team in and Delaware as the 2nd team out, weren't as bad as the AGS Poll (Mercer the 3rd to last team in and Delaware the 4th team out). But they did release almost 24 hours after the selection show aired so it's tough to say.... but I suppose I can give them a tip of the cap for this year.

STATS did not project. It reacted.
