The Torre talk has been strong here since the day Joe left the Yankees. It's been somewhat of a given that it would be Torre or Girardi here in LA.

I feel bad for Grady Little. Guy has a winning record in each of his first 2 years, still has a job as of right now and people are talking about his replacement before he has been fired.

Has it always been this way? I never remember so much classlessness from organizations, players, agents, etc. First Steinbrenner in the middle of the playoff series says Torre must win or he is gone (that is normal 1980s Steinbrenner, just not the past few years), then A-Rod and Boras pulls his crap during the World Series, now the Dodgers are doing this.

What is interesting is that despite all of Torre's success, girardi was actually the Dodgers first choice.

I'm sure it had to do with Torre likely to demand more money than Girardi would have, plus you need to factor int he 2 year Little buyout.
