THIBODAUX, La. - For most of the first half, the Nicholls State University football team looked to be in another heated battle in the River Bell Classic against rival Southeastern, but the 23rd-ranked Lions scored two touchdowns in the final 70 seconds and went on to score 10 more unanswered points after the break to defeat the Colonels, 40-17, Thursday night on Manning Field at John L. Guidry Stadium.
