Will Donaldson just graduate already!!!?! That Rowan kid was a killer.
After only managing a 7-0 lead at halftime, Western Illinois would explode for 20 points in the second half as the Leathernecks would beat Illinois State 27-14. Runningback Herb Donaldson would have his second 200+ yard rushing day on the year, running for 241 yards and 2 touchdowns. Kicker Taylor Rowan would add two field goals: one of 48 yards, and the other 53 yards.

Appalachian State would hold off a late Furman drive as they beat their old-time rivals 34-27. Quarterback Armanti Edwards appeared to return to the same form from the Michigan game earlier this year, with 211 yards passing, 126 yards rushing, and 3 touchdowns.That was a fun game to watch. Looks like Edwards is pretty much back.
