Big plays early in the second quarter provided some momentum for both teams but in the end Southeast Missouri was able to pull away for a 31-7 win over Eastern Illinois on Senior Day for the Panthers at O'Brien Field. SEMO, ranked No. 19 in this week's national polls, improved to 8-2 overall, 4-0 in the OVC. EIU fell to 2-8 overall, 1-3 in the OVC.
