Savannah State, gets destroyed 28-7 by NAIA dormat Edward Waters. I think EWC went 2-6 against NAIA teams last year. I can't find their schedule/results this year.

Why do teams stick around in the FCS if they can't compete?

Valdosta or West Georgia would both be great in-state replacements. They at least seem to have an interest in Football.

What do you expect? They are an HBCU -- though, it seems they go a different route than say a PVA&M that did not play their first home game til today!
