YSU visits MoST to face the second ranked QB in the MVFC. Their QB Shelley has passing marks of 175 comp. in 272 attempts for 2266 yds, 17 TDs and 5 INT. Clearly he will challenge YSU problem CBs. The Bears,3-6 have had their season collapse on them while YSU, 6-3, needs to win out if they want to make the playoffs.

Game notes shows YSU to be healthy as most starters remain listed. Only Alexander in place of Fordham at WR and Lee at DT are new even though both have played a lot. Jaleel is closing in on becoming the all time NCAA rushing leader in history. Nate Kmic from next door Mount Union is the all time leader.

The question is , can YSU win out ?

Jaleel McLaughlin stands third in NCAA rushing history with 2 games to go. He has 1201 carries for 7855 yds and scored 76 TDs in 54 games. He trails second place on the NCAA rushing list by 107 yds. He only trails all time leader Nate Kmic of Mt. Union by 219 yds. Kmic leads with 8074. Jaleel has an excellent chance to catch him. Jaleel has 1277 in 9 games so far, averaging 141.9 yds per game.

If I am the Youngstown State, I'd look to chew up as much of the play clock while on offense which in turn will keep the ball out of their best player, which is their QB. When on defense, I'd look for us to bring a great deal of pressure on the MSU OL, which has given up 39 sacks on the year for 239 yards! That is the 2nd worst in all of the FCS!

Do not turn it over and hopefully our special teams (mainly punt return) will play better than last week. If they do, then I think YSU has a good chance on the road to get their 5th win in a row. Mitch Davidson could have a very big day against this defense. Will be interested to see if MSU's RB will play. Thank you offense.. YSU is inept when it counts on offense.. love to have all the points left on the field.. wouldn't have to worry about all the 3rd down stops. Hard to pin dropped passes, penalties, piss poor special teams and bad reads on coaches. Last I checked none of them were suited up. Maybe preparing them for a game I would buy in. Looking at the raw raw board the ****ing idiots are howling, most never set foot on a football field but know coaches and fundamentals lol [emoji38]

Congratulations to #8.. The best all time in NCAA history in yardage, attempts, average. Shame the rest of the team wasn't as stellar..
