The city has really come alive this week as the biggest football game of the year takes place this weekend. The lots opened Wednesday morning, and the main lot around the stadium was filled to capasity early yesterday. The secondary lots are beginning to fill up now. Over 120,000+ are expected to be around the Legion Feild area when the game kicks-off between Alabama A&M and Alabama State. Tom Joyner had the annual skyshow this morning featuring Quipid, George Clinton, Sinbad, Ruben Studdard and others. Big concerts and stepshows tonight, big parade tommorow morning, great game tommorow.

Ever heard of vacations? Most people get at least two weeks. I used a few days this year to travel to a few road games. I am sure others on this board do the same.
Maybe Liberty is not worth wasting any vacation days to see.....xcoffeex

Great game, great weekend. Almost 69,000 for the game, it was estimated that another 40,000 or so never went inside but tailgated. Pics will be up soon!xnodx

Looking forward to the pictures. Sounds like a great weekend. Good food, good music, beautiful women, plenty to drink and of course good football.
