I sure hope the NFL doesn't pull a Saints and move the game to Houston.

AZ (Sun Devil), LA (Coliseum), all make more sense to me.

I think it'll be in AZ. There is a dirt bike rally there, but I think the NFL may have a little somethin-somethin to buy them out.

The dirt bike thing is at the new stadium in Glendale, the Bolts could play in Sun Devil like they did a few years back.

According to news reports in Phoenix, the Chargers are unlikely to play in AZ. Most likely Houston or Dallas, as Jerry Jones has offered Texas Stadium for this Sunday.

I'd love to see it in Tempe. The NFL doesn't want the game on Monday night, which is when it could be played in Glendale. That leaves Sun Devil Stadium. However, ASU's homecomming game is Saturday night, so the field will be pretty chewed up. Plus, with the Cardinals no longer playing there, the league no longer has close contacts with the Athletic Department. As much as I'd love to see it at Sun Devil Stadium, I think Dallas makes the most sense.

For the record, if they do play at Sun Devil on Sun. afternoon, I'll probably go. I live a few miles from the stadium, and there's plenty of parking nearby if you get there early enough. Also, they no longer sell beer at the stadium. My sisters-in-law were at the Mon. night game played there 4 years ago. The media quietly glossed over all the problems security had with drunken a-holes at the game. They left after the third fight broke out in their section.

Reporter from Houston saying that the game WILL be held in SD, may be moved to Monday though...

The Rose Bowl in Pasadena would also be good. UCLA does not play at home this week and that would be the best for San Diego Chargers fans.

Can't wait for Sunday. I'll be back in the Metrodome rooting for the away team. Hopefully I'm 2 for 2...

Amazing! On one hand, Spanos shows he cares about the people of San Diego by giving to the fire relief fund.
On another hand, he shows he doesn't give two *****s about them by hiring Norv Turner. The guy's an enigma! :D

No kidding, NT was more of an AJ Smith hiring though. 1-3 to start with, but 3-0 now, we'll see how the rest of the year goes...
