BATON ROUGE, La. – A header by Alayla Jackson off a throw-in in by Aniya Clark in the 46th minute gave Southern University (6-8-2, 3-3-1) the draw against Texas Southern University, Friday night at Alexander Durley Stadium, 1-1. With the draw, the Lady Jaguars guarantee themselves a spot in the Southwestern Athletic Conference tournament. They currently sit in fifth, with two games left, and can move as high as third.
