Idaho at 24 and Montana at 7 is a J-O-K-E.

APSU at 22 is generous. Still not understanding why UT-M is above SEMO. SEMO beat their #17 team on the road, UT-M lost to no-longer-ranked Misery State. xdeadhorsex
No way should St. Thomas get SEVEN votes at 3-1 vs FCS with a loss to SUU, nor Merrimack 5 votes. And who the **** is STILL voting for Stetson!!! They're 1-2 in FCS with a loss to goddamn Marist!

The Griz would curb stomp Jackson State. Even if Jackson state was the home team.

This poll should just be disbanded. Year in and year out it's obvious whoever actually casts the votes does no homework and knows nothing about the teams they're voting for.

Not exactly sure how to justify Montana being ranked at all. Best win is over a perennial Southland doormat. Opponents they have defeated have combined .250 winning %.

Elon shouldn't have fallen that far, based on an intraconference road loss to another ranked team.
Montana is right about where I expected them to fall. They never should have been ranked #2. If they'd been ranked around 4-7; they would have fallen between 9 - 12 which IMHO is about right.

I hope the coaches do a better job prepairing for games than they do for this poll

Delaware should switch seats with the Tribals - until W&M loses another game. Also move'em both up a couple slots.

You have a good point for ranking your So Con teams, but trashing Montana does not make that argument any better. I had both of them and Idaho ahead of Montana in my poll. And Mercer over NDSU.

Idk if I’d put Montana State ahead of Sac State. Hornets are unbeaten and won there FBS game by 31 (albeit against a horrible team). Montana State is very good, but I don’t know if a top 3 FCS team should be losing by 40 to Oregon State, even if the Beavers are solid this year.
I’d also put Weber ahead of NDSU.

I’d also put Weber ahead of NDSU.Montana State got a fluke win over EWU on a late 4th Qtr fumble. The game was over, about 1:30 on the clock and EWU fumbles at their own 20 or something, a couple plays later MSU gets a TD to win.

Unsure how posing a rhetorical question about a Team and citing 2 facts about their record is in any way equivalent to “trashing.”
Is Montana now the Mohammed of FCS and FUBeAR an infidel for questioning their alleged omnipotence and pointing out undeniable truths about them?
You should catch FUBeAR on a HateRant about GaSou, Appy, and/or the Marsha BlunderingTurd (programs at least equally as deserving of I-AA/FCS reverence as the Griz) some Saturday afternoon at a post-game tailgate.
Sounds as if you are rankin’ ‘em up just right Gil Dobie. No need to protect your Big Sky partners from pixel parries by the Boyz from the South. They can stand up on their own hind paws.

Dunno about all that. We were driving, at the EWU 8, when Chambers threw a pick in the EZ. That was with just under 4 minutes to play, not 1:30. EWU fumbled on the first play of their possession. Even if he hadn't fumbled, which is irrelevant because he did, but if he hadn't, it's 2nd and 10 with plenty of time. If we had forced a 3 and out and drove the field rather than force the fumble, I'm sure there's some other excuse to how it was a fluke win. xrolleyesx We went in there with a depleted RB corp, our QB was knocked out early, the coach made a bad play call to end the 1st half, and some questionable penalties against us. I'm pretty happy about getting the win, as there was a lot going against us.
That said, as I've been saying all year, Weber is better, and so is Sac State. I'd have MSU 6-8 at this point.
