HOUSTON – Northwestern State jumped out to an early lead and held off HCU, 37-10, in a Southland Conference football matchup Saturday night at Husky Stadium. Houston Christian University (HCU), formerly Houston Baptist University (HBU), underwent a name change in September 2022.
