Penn's whiners (already saying they were screwed in OT) over Brown by 7

Crimson over Green by 17

Ithaca U. over Princeton by 7 (Princeton may have thrown in the towel. They are blaming the Hampton game for their subsequent losses. Say they were beat up physically xbawlingx xbawlingx xbawlingx)

Yale/Columbia - Yale by 24 - After last week, they will beat up on Columbia

Harvard/Dartmouth - Harvard by 14, this Harvard team seems to get better every week and I don't see that trend stopping here.

Cornell/Princeton - Cornell by 7 - Is this game on Friday night? Either way, Princeton looks like they are going downhill fast.

Brown/Penn - Brown gets back on track with a win, Brown by 7.

brownbear, what happened at Cornell? I was shocked when I saw the final after Brown had been up double digits when I last checked the score.

We were up 31-14 in the 3rd quarter, and then Cornell somehow scored 24 unanswered points on us. They began making all of their 3rd down conversions, we weren't. Also, we had several drives late in the game that started inside our own 10, so we would get the ball, go 3 and out, and Cornell would get the ball on our 40 and it was an easy drive for them.

A good Dartmouth friend (who played for Crouthamel in the 70s) and I bet a lunch on the game. I gave him 6 points, and he took it! xcoolx We'll see.

Yale at Columbia: Yale, 56-21. Siedlecki and the Bulldogs keep prepping for Crimson in a few weeks.

Penn at Brown: Brown, 24-21. Estes gets his team back up for the win.

Dartmouth at Harvard: Harvard, 35-34. Old high school chums battle it out, but Murph squeaks one in a closer than expected win over Buddy.

Cornell at Princeton: Cornell, 34-31. Mini-upset, Cornell uses momentum of last week's 4th quarter surge to pull one out against the slumping Tigers.

Penn at Brown: Brown by 3, hopefully not after 3 OTs.

Dartmouth at Harvard: Harvard by 10.

Harvard and Yale are both 4-0 in League play with 3 weeks left. Every other Ivy school has at least 2 losses. Looks like it may come down to 11/17 in New Haven!:D xthumbsupx

One thing is for sure, the winner of Y-H is guaranteed at least a piece of the title, since that team will not have more than 2 losses in the league.

Edit: Did not state that the way I should have. One of the teams playing in New Haven on the 17th will at least share the title. Confusing enough? xconfusedx

I wish I could, but I'm going to be stuck in DE that day for a long-standing local commitment. xbawlingx I may free up in time to see the 4th quarter on our local cable feed.

My son and I are heading to NYC for the Harvard-Columbia game next weekend!xthumbsupx Not as good as New Haven on the 17th, but I'll have to make do!;)

I don't know if Yale usually announces these things week to week, but I wonder how many tickets have been sold so far and how many will be sold this week. (Now that at least some part of the title will probably be on the line)

By the way, rumor has it that McLeod has a broken bone in his big toe. Heard anything?

By the way, rumor has it that McLeod has a broken bone in his big toe. Heard anything?

Really?

All I could get was from the Yale website: ""It's sore," McLeod said of his foot. "It's going to be sore. It's something I'm going to have to play through.""

Any docs here: you don't play through broken toes, right?

If this article is correct, I guess you do.

http://www.nhregister.com/site/news.cfm?newsid=18964261&BRD=1281&PAG=461&dept_id=7592&rfi=6

McLeod, who had two fumbles in the first half, rushed for 135 yards on 35 carries. He had 23 carries in the first half and seemed slowed by an injured big toe, which has a broken bone

He's still the best back in the League! McLeod with 9 toes is better than all the other RBs with 10!:p xnodx xlolx
