CEDAR CITY, Utah - Southern Utah University Head Golf Coach Richard Church hosted the eleventh annual Thunderbird Classic golf tournament Friday afternoon at the Cedar Ridge Golf Course. All proceeds and donations for the tournament will go towards the Southern Utah golf program and the construction of the John L. Evans Golf Center at Cedar Ridge Golf Course. Coming into Friday's fundraising event, over $500,000 had already been raised towards the construction of the world-class golf center.
