The University at Albany football team fought back from an early 24-7 deficit to bring the game within a single score but was unable to overcome the early hole. Quarterback Reese Poffenbarger and running back Todd Sibley led the offense with a combined four touchdowns. On the defensive side of the ball, Isaac Duffy recorded the team's first interception of the year.
