FRISCO, Texas – HCU sophomore linebacker Rodney Dansby was selected Southland Conference Defensive Player of the Week, as voted on by the sports information directors and announced by the league office Monday. Houston Christian University (HCU), formerly Houston Baptist University (HBU), underwent a name change in September 2022.
