I think this could be an interesting matchup. As a Colgate grad born in Maryland, I have tried to follow Towson since they left the Patriot League and became a 63-scholarship program, but have not been able to do so this year. I had heard Towson had some injuries to a couple of key players. Any of our AGS Towson University posters in a position to clue me on on how their season has progressed? Many thanks.

Sure. We have had quite a bit of devastating injuries and now suspensions.
We lost two WR early. One dislocated his ankle in the opening half of the CCSU game and then we lost what looked to be our big play WR to a broken foot in the UMass game(This alos sucks because he's also the Tigers PF on the basketball team.) The starting center broke his hand in the Morgan game, I believe, our big OT transfer from PennState showed up out of shape and thus hampered by a hamstring all year and one other injury to another offinsive lineman has shuffled the entire front 5 seemingly every week. In addition to injuries, both our top RBs have missed one gmae each due to being suspended for breaking team rules. And now our best cover CB and another LB were busted for drug posession and have been kicked out of school last Friday before the Hofstra game. Yuck.

Towson started out lazy vs CCSU and Morgan State.
Hung with UMass for 3 qtrs and beat themselves with mistakes
Got pounded at home in the entire second half vs Delaware
Lost in the last seconds with 3 dropped passes from the 14yd line at W&M.
Upset Richmond the following week with an incredible game by Schaefer.
Completely outclassed by Hofstra last week.

Schaefer has been hot and cold all year.
Bradford on defense is a monster.

It should be a good game.

Final

Jordan Scott has a huge 2nd half (especially 4th Quarter). Defense stepped up well with the short field all game. Offense overcomes 2 turnovers inside the 20 and wins a really good game. Alex Relph, playing the last couple of weeks with Turf Toe, really passed well in the 1st half, keeping them in the game, and showed some real toughness throughout the contest. Tigers didn't play poorly, but seemed to run out of steam at the end. Good game and a good win for the Raiders. Towson remains winless all time against Colgate.
