NASHVILLE, TN -- Johanna Alcantara finished with 18 kills on the day to while finishing with a hitting percentage of .452. to help the Tennessee State volleyball team to a 3-0 sweep (25-23, 25-16, 25-22) against the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles Thursday at home at Kean Hall. On defense the Tigers were led by Gina Rivera-Ortiz who had 14 digs along with five blocks from Gabrielle Johnson and five rejections from Kennedy Davis to lead them defensively. It was the fifth straight home victory for TSU.
