Redshirt freshman quarterback Mason Kaplan (Peachtree Corners, Ga. / Norcross) has earned national recognition after helping lead the Valparaiso University football team to a come-from-behind 28-21 win over defending Pioneer Football League co-champion San Diego on Saturday afternoon at Brown Field.
