Cornell scored a first-quarter goal, then added an insurance tally in the third and fourth quarters, which proved too much for the Dartmouth field hockey team to overcome in a 3-1 loss in the Ivy League opener on Friday. Meg Barnes scored in the final minute on an impressive shot, her second straight game with a goal, but it wasn't enough, as the Big Green's winning streak ends at three. Fellow senior Hatley Post made five saves in goal, including some highlight-reel stops.
