Following a tough, hard-fought 3-2 defeat against Providence Monday, the Dartmouth field hockey team is eyeing its first win of the season as it remains home this weekend to welcome Northeastern Friday (3 p.m.) and Sacred Heart Sunday (12 p.m.). Dartmouth scored two straight against the Friars Monday to take a 2-1 third-quarter advantage, but the Friars ended the game with two unanswered for the win. So far this season, Lila Browne, Myah Pease and Bronwyn Bird have accounted for all five goals and 12 of Dartmouth's 13 points. On Monday, Browne and Pease each scored, one off a penalty corner and the other via a penalty stroke. Freshman Ava Carlson was stellar in goal, making eight saves.
