The Dartmouth field hockey team fired seven of the game's first eight shots and came ever-so close to getting on the scoreboard, but Quinnipiac scored with eight seconds left in the first quarter and went on to post all four its goals in less than 15 minutes of game action, as the Bobcats downed the Big Green, 4-1 on Saturday afternoon. Lila Browne got Dartmouth within 3-1 late in the first half, but Quinnipiac added another late-quarter goal, this one with 17 seconds remaining in the second, to regain a three-goal margin.
