PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania Division of Recreation and Intercollegiate Athletics and the Penn Champions Club achieved another outstanding fundraising year during the 2021-22 fiscal year beginning July 1, 2021 and concluding June 30, 2022. During that time, total cash-in for the Division was the second highest in Penn Athletics history, finishing the fiscal year at $30.7 million, just below the previous high of $31.2 million set in FY20. The Penn Champions Club raised $34 million in commitments towards Penn Athletics' highest priorities including annual fund support, endowment commitments, and capital projects. This marks the third time in Penn Athletics history that the Penn Champions Club has raised more than $30 million in commitments in a single fiscal year, with all three times coming in the last four years.
