I just have to believe Bobby Hauck is doing this on purpose. Only use the plays you need to get the job done. Nothing fancy because he is saving it for later.
I know that sounds stupid, but how is it every team seems to out scheme us weekend in, weekend out? I mean c'mon! We have so many seasoned players on this team, I find it hard to believe they can't grasp our offense.

How is it the play-calling when the o-line can't open holes & Bergquist keeps throwing into double coverage?
Peems

How is it the play-calling when the o-line can't open holes & Bergquist keeps throwing into double coverage?
Because the calls dictate the route running, and blocking and starting the RB 8 yards back and having guys run 20 yards before breaking off. It's coaching not all playcalling.

That's a ridiculous explaination. The Griz plays look the same as any other team's plays.
It's execution. Run-blocking is simple. The problem is that the o-line apparently has no physical strength. They have looked good in pass protection today, though.
Cole & Selle have looked awful, & the receivers can't get open consistently because the starters are all possession receivers (no speed guys without Chambers).

No it's not. I've already gone over what the play calling and coaching has to do with the poor play. The O-line can be attributed to poor coaching, these kids have talent, they scored 59 against this same team with basically the same guys last year and can't get anything going. This last play was a perfect example run the zone read to the outside and takes about 8 seconds to develop and Hilliard loses 3 yards.
