I’ve been talking about it all offseason, I really like UIW. People overestimate the loss of one coach and one player. They still have one of the best WR groups in the FCS. Their line still looked strong. Lindsey Scott was as good as expected. We’ll see how the defense holds up long term, and I know it’s early, but I think the Cardinals are a safe bet to go 9-2 or 10-1 (with a D2 win). Could find themselves seeded come playoff time.

JSU looked pretty dang good doing whatever they wanted on both sides of the ball, completely shutting down a FAMU offense that did OK last week in Chapel Hill despite being shorthanded (which they still are). For me, the big takeaway from this game is confirmation of how bad UNC's defense is this year.
