Good grief, this thing is bad. This is the kind of game where you might run out of people to play. I'm thinking the waterboy, ball boys, ushers, and anyone else who would like to strap it up could get some run for the 'cats.

Why do they schedule a non-conference team like Iona for Homecoming Weekend? They gotta do better than that.

They need a new stadium, then they can get some decent home and home games.

Why do they schedule a non-conference team like Iona for Homecoming Weekend? They gotta do better than that.

It's Homecoming, they had 11K+ and another 4K+ out in the tailgate area who never came into the game! It didn't really matter who we played. Not as good as last year with 13K+ and lord knows how many thousands out in the tailgate area.

My guess is that Iona was a guaranteed home game without a return. The Ivy and Patriot Leagues don't exactly schedule a lot of CAA schools. That leaves Albany, Stony Brook, Central CT and MAAC schools. Any school from the AQ leagues would require flying which makes a home and home unlikely. In time I'm guessing we'll see home and homes with Albany and maybe Stony Brook (America East mates). I wish we could get a Patriot League opponent for a home and home to guarantee a home game the years we play Dartmouth in Hanover. That would be a much more competitive game and be cost effective.

Good to see you again today OxSox!!

Congrats, Coach Mac and your kids and staff. Also, classy move in taking your foot off the accelerator at 42-0 and something like 300 yds offense vs 7 yds offense. Certainly a lot more respect than in some of the blowouts today where the winner scored more points in the 2nd half than in the first!
