tough game for the bobcats so far. we looked great the first drive and a half (offensively) then we just fell apart. this will be a long season for bobcat fans but we have a very young team and new coach so i kinda expected some trouble just not this much.

Texas State looks like the Washington Generals. UCA is playing well obviously but the Bobcat defense is as poor as I've ever seen. They have major problems.

We are VERY, VERY young and were also somewhat beat up with injuries in the NWST game.

We 5 games under our belt and an open week to "teach" and heal up I would venture that we are at least 4 touchdowns better than we were in the first two weeks of the year.

We knew the beginning of the year could be rough as we lost 15 of our top 16 tacklers from last year's defense, both offensive tackles, and our leading receiver.

Bad news, we are still young and will make mistakes and probably lose some we could have won.


Good news, we are playing many, many players who will all be back for 1, 2, or 3 years with the exception of about 3 seniors who are contributing, 4counting our kicker.
