Picking up an experienced vet like Lindsey Scott Jr from the portal should help offset the loss of Ward, and there is plenty of returning talent from last year’s team. I don’t know enough about the new coach to comment but for now 14 seems about right.

I'm looking at returning starters and they have plenty, plus plug in Scott at QB and he is a gamer.

Scott passed for over 2000 yards (62% completion) and ran for almost another thousand (990). On a better team, there is upside.

ps. I’d be delighted if UIW falls flat this year for Cancelling their WAC schedule at the last minute. I’m just trying to be fair here.

I think the Kinne hiring is a home run, and hiring him specifically will make the transition from HC to HC much smoother given the similarities between himself and Morris.

I’m going to have to agree with everyone here, glad to see the Cards getting some love. Underestimate UIW at your own risk, they very easily could’ve been a quarterfinals team last year and probably should’ve been. They’re bringing back the talent to make another run at it.
